With Grammy & Gramps!, by Sparkle

I such a lucky girl! Yesterday my beloved Grammy & Gramps came up to visit me - they came up on a choo-choo, and I was so excited I didn't even eat my breakfast (a first)! Mama told me they were coming, so all morning I paced until I heard the buzzer announcing their arrival...oh, such excitement! I raced down the hall to greet them, leaping into the air, I just couldn't get enough kisses! Grammy brought me a wonderful bone - only one problem...Grammy ALSO cooked me a London Broil - but she forgot to bring it!!! We found out later that it fell out of her carry-on bag...oh well...it's the thought that counts...

After the excitement of their arrival, I settled down a bit...Mama and Grammy went off to have manicures while I took a snooze with Gramps. And I have to confess, I DID go off my diet - but just for the day. I ate PIZZA! As soon as the delivery guy came, I hopped up on Grammy's lap, 'cause I KNOW that's where I'm gonna get the most food! And sure enough, we "shared." :-)

They finally had to leave to go home, and mama and I walked them to the elevator, where I waved bye-bye with my paw...I'm gonna spend some time with them VERY soon, so Grammy can just cook up another London Broil...or a Steak...or Filet...

Meanwhile, the weather was MUCH nicer the past few days - Mama and I were able to BREATHE again! - I can't wait for the Fall - the truth is I love wearing my clothes, so in cooler weather Mama always dresses me. I so cute!

It's my Godfather's birthday tomorrow so I want EVERYONE in the WORLD to wish him the happiest day, okay? We can't all be together to blow out any candles, but a good wish works just as well!
