My Vacation, by Sparkle

WOW! I just got back from eight whole days with Grammy & Gramps - part vacation, part work, and part Grammy's birthday week! First up, we had to take Gramps to Will's Eye Hospital to get new glasses - I, of course, preferred to walk on two legs to blend in, since doggies aren't allowed in the Hospital...
Then we were pooped when we got home, so Gramps and I had to take a nappsie...

But I still took a moment for a close-up...

The next day Auntie Clucker came over and we all went to Peddler's Village...I so good! I sat with Grammy & Gramps while Mama and Auntie Clucker went off to find coffee...


Grammy made the BESTEST dinners and my belly was SO FULL EVERY NIGHT!!!
Grammy, AUntie Clucker and Mama decided to do a LOT of shopping - man-oh-man, their credit cards were GROANING! Gramps and I waited for them to peruse the stores...

Sometimes we even got to voice an opinion...I think you can tell I'm not thrilled with whatever Auntie was trying on...

We all went to the COACH store to find Grammy a new bag...hey, we're talking BIG BUCKS there!!!

Needless to say, every night I was EXHAUSTED!!! So, back to my FAVORITE PLACE!!!

On Grammy's birthday, we ALL went out for a lovely lunch - here's my beautiful Grammy!

The next day we had a full house! Auntie Clucker and Uncle Football, Uncle Jeff and Uncle Harvey, Cousin Molly, Mama, Gramps & Grammy! And they all brought PRESENTS - of course I had to inspect...

OOOH! THIS is pretty - maybe Grammy will let me borrow it?

While no one was looking, I thought I'd check out Cousin Molly's bag - I was told she keeps chewing gum in there - and some spare CASH!


I also managed to sneak in some football with UNCLE Football!
So all in all, it was a FABULOUS time! I waved bye-bye when it was time to go, and we called Grammy and Gramps from the road just to see if they missed us (YES!!!)...They are my two favorite people in the WHOLE WORLD!!!

Another Visit! by Sparkle

Good gracious, I haven't blogged in a while! Lots going on...first of all, I just came back from a nice visit with Grammy & Gramps - my favorites! Grammy made sure to have my yummy foods prepared...



Auntie Mary drove me and my mama to PA where they live for the time being...Gramps hasn't been seeing so good, so I made sure to get up close to his face a lot! Auntie Mary is VERY special, and she has the KINDEST heart!!!

Not to be outdone, my Auntie Clucker was ALSO there (what a day!) and SHE gave me hugs and kisses as well!


Grammy & Auntie Mary were very busy sorting through foreign coins so maybe mama can take them to the bank and cash them in for a zillion dollars! And I would donate a lot of the money to animal charities...

Gramps always makes sure I'm well fed, so I usually manage to sit with him or Grammy at the table...mama wants me to remember my diet (PHOOEY!) but I can't help it - I like to eat! Auntie Mary took some DIGITAL footage of me, so hopefully I will be able to give you all an address where you can go and see me LIVE AND IN PERSON!!! (I so cute!)

After eating, Mama and Auntie Mary took me outside so I could dance and work off some of my meal, but I was happy just being on the deck...



Our intention is to go back next week for maybe SEVEN days and help celebrate Grammy's birthday (a real lady never tells her age - but Grammy is older than Mama) on the 16th! We already bought our presents, so I'm VERY excited about the idea of ripping off the paper - to help Grammy, of course... I would like you all to take a moment and wish good things for my beloved Gramps, and wish my beloved Grammy a VERY happy birthday!
