Happy Halloween!!! by Sparkle

Warm woofs! Everyone has been asking me what I'll be for Halloween this year, so I'm making it official: I'm going to be a naked doggie! It's been a ruff-ruff year and mama didn't want to do "dress-up" this year, so we decided to go simple - and natural! So here I am:

One year I was a little witch, but mama says I should really be a princess - or a BALLERINA!!! That's cause I dance so pretty! Anyway, I hope none of you pigs out on candy or anything and that everyone has a fun, safe evening...BOO!

"Central Park Paws," by Sparkle

Oh, what fun!!! Central Park gave us doggies our own special day to come together and play and meet and learn and wag tails!!! Auntie Mary was kind enough to come with mama and me—here I am greeting her!

Please notice I'm wearing my BEAUTIFUL pink floral sweater, courtesy of Grammy & Gramps! The sun was shinning, and the weather was crisp, so we all had the elements for a perfect day!
When we got to the park, there were TONS of dogs!!!

Big ones, small ones...frankly, I was overwhelmed! Mama scooped me up and I watched from my pouch...

We signed up at a special table for doggies to have the right to run without leashes during certain hours - on mama's page, she wrote, "Born to run!!!"

They had doggies doing Agility classes - we were gonna do it, but the line was SOOOOOO long!!!

We saw some pretty outfits...

Here's another view...

Some nice sweaters...

Some doggies even matched their owners!...

Some even went NAKED!!!

And SOME people wore DOGGIE coats!

Lots of people stopped us to take MY picture...

And mama took pictures of OTHER doggies...this one is "Cha-Cha"...

Here I am meeting a BIG doggie...

But this one was even bigger! And we have NO idea what breed he was...

And they were giving away LOTS of yummy treats and samples! I LOVED what mama brought home for me...

Some doggies were walked in a circle...

And others just hung out and watched...

I just had the BESTEST day—and even though Auntie Mary didn't bring Maggie & Scottie, we appreciated VERY MUCH her taking videos and helping Mama with photos - we LOVE Auntie Mary!!!

So to all the organizers of the Event, THANK YOU—and I hope to see many of my new friends next year!

Happy Day! by Sparkle

Greetings and warm woofs! Mama and I just got back home - as promised, we went to see Great Uncle Jeff now home from the hospital - and Grammy, Gramps, and AUntie Clucker came up to see him (and me!) as well!
Here Auntie and I have a snuggle...
...And of course I love playing a "shy and retiring girl..." :

I was just relaxing and enjoying the conversation until it was time to go...

Then we took Grammy's and Gramps' Lexus and drove across town...Great Uncle Jeff was VERY happy to see me!

ANd once again I enjoyed listening to the conversation...

Of course at this point I was starting to get a little hungry, and decided to mention this to Gramps...

He agreed that I was VERY smart, and I got a little kiss!!!

My Gramps LOVES me SO much!!! Of course that's not to say he doesn't love the REST of my family! Here he is with AUntie Clucker!

ANd of course we must not let Grammy feel left out - I love her just as much as I love Gramps - and she brought me another steak today!!!

So we all went out and had a nice Chinese supper, and then Grammy, Gramps and AUntie took off in their car, while mama and I took a cab home. Great Uncles Jeff and Harvey went back to their home as well, and I is one happy girl because my family is doing well and we were all together! I sorry there are no photos of Uncle Harvey - he was giving AUntie a tour, and of course Mama was taking the pictures. But I had a good day...

And all is right with my world...I should also mention that today was the anniversary of my beloved sister Puppy's birthday, so I shall mention her in my prayers. I hope all of you had a nice day as well!

Gracious Me!, by Sparkle

This past weekend my Grammy, Gramps & Auntie Clucker decided to come up and see me, but GUESS WHAT!!! My dear Great-Uncle Jeff was rushed to the hospital with gall bladder problems! I was SO upset! So Gramps decided to stay at my home with me, while mama, Grammy & AUntie went to visit him. Mama did not bring her camera to the hospital because Great-Uncle probably would not have appreciated that...BUT...for my friends and viewing public, here's some snaps of ME!!!

Grammy is ALWAYS happy to see me, and of course that's my Gramps in the background...
My AUntie Clucker was also looking lovely - Mama got a picture of her pretty red nails!

While the three ladies went to visit my Great Uncle, I HAD to do what I do best...
While Gramps and I snoozed, Great-Uncle Jeff was saying his farewells to Grammy - but it turned out to be not so bad...the doctors said he was gonna have to have his gall bladder removed...YUCK!!! But ANYTHING to make my Great-Uncle feel better...

When Mama, Grammy & Auntie came back, Mama took my photo with Gramps...then we decided to go out to dinner! YUM! Please notice my lovely argyle sweater...

Even though my poor Uncle was feeling pookey, I DID have some quality time with my family - and get THIS: GRAMMY MADE ME A STEAK!!!

Do I have the best Grammy or WHAT!!!???

So that was my Saturday...since then, Mama has visited with her Uncle Jeff...he is RIGHT THIS MINUTE having his operation - and he's expected to go home tomorrow! I so excited! That means everyone will come up on this coming weekend and we'll visit him at HOME! And mama will bring her camera so you can see how well Great-Uncle looks!
I must admit I did NOT fast on Yom Kippur yesterday, but Mama says God will understand...'cause when Grammy makes a steak, you EAT IT!!!
I hope everyone is well,
