"January '07 Visit," by Sparkle

Woof! Things have been a little crazy here...my beloved Great-Uncle Harvey has been ill, and THAT's no way to start a New Year!!! And Grammy and Gramps have moved to Florida for a few months while their new home is being built, so they came up with AUntie Clucker to see me - and of course to visit Great-Uncle Harvey - before they left. I was up early and waiting for them to arrive, and wearing my new jogging warm-up suit...

Auntie Clucker was VERY hungry when they arrived, so mama sent out for bagels and coffee...and those of you who know me well know how much I LOVE my coffee...here I am trying to get Auntie to share some...

I coughed on Auntie's lap a few times, which mama thought was very funny...but Auntie LOVES me so much!!!

Grammy laughed as well...here's my beautiful Grammy who SHARED her food with me...

The ladies decided to go to the hospital to see Uncle Harvey...we felt it best that Gramps should stay home and cuddle with me, cause he is a GREAT cuddler! So while they were gone, that's pretty much what we did...

It's been almost a week since they were all here and Great Uncle Harvey is STILL in Mr. Hospital...mama says she'll take me, maybe this weekend, so I can cheer him up. Meanwhile, I had a nice time with my family...Great Uncle Jeff joined us for a quick dinner, then Auntie, Grammy & Gramps took a big bus back to Auntie's house, where they were staying until the big plane took them bye-bye to Florida...My plan is to go visit them, probably in March, but I'll write again before then. Please keep my Uncle in your prayers, and I hope your new year has gotten off to a better start.
By the way, Grammy brought me up TWO steaks, so I'll have to savor them until I see her again! She also gave me a big GRAMMY kiss before they left!

Be cool, stay warm, and remember that even when things are ruff-ruff, there's always something to be grateful for.
