"My Belated Celebration," by Sparkle

Woofs and licks! My Grammy & Gramps finally got back up north and they came to see me! It was only one week after my birthday, so I'll share some of the fun with you!
First, I looked adorable...

I was wearing my blue and yellow "tennis" dress with pleats - so cute when I waddle!!! And of course we had to start the day with kisses!

And HUGS!!!

We all ate some yummy muffins, then it was time to check out my presents!!!! Auntie Clucker sent me these DELICIOUS biscuits and even sent some truffles for my mama! And she sent this funny sign:

Grammy and Gramps gave me this BEEYOUTEEFULL sundress...

...and this great denim dress with RHINESTONES that says "Diva"!

Now WHO do we know that might be considered a "Diva Dog???"
Anyway, the gifts were great!
Then mama and Grammy went to have their paws polished, but I stayed with my Gramps and we took a nappsie...after the ladies came home, we ordered a mushroom PIZZA! Birdie-face loves pizza almost as much as I do, so that was pretty yummy!
Soon, it was getting time for Grammy & Gramps to head home...I couldn't let them go without licking Gramps' ear - my favorite!

...And of course a last minute cuddle with Grammy...

So they went bye-bye, and it was just me and mama...I was one pooped pup, so mama undressed me and I crawled into bed...I didn't even eat my Greenie, I was so tired! But anyway, it was a wonderful day and I send them all my love!

"My Birthday!!!," by Sparkle

Warm woofs and licks! Yesterday was my 5th birthday and I had a WONDERFUL day with my mama! The "official" celebration will be when Grammy & Gramps come to town next weekend, but Mama bought me a dress, and bones, and we went to a jewelry store, and we went to Sephora so I could smell all the lipsticks, and we went to Bloomingdales where we looked at everything!
Then we sat outside of Starbucks and enjoyed the lovely weather while mama read...I tell ya, I was one tired puppy when I got home! So I climbed up on my blue chair, turned upside-down, and rested!

Mama always says I look so funny, but it's COMFY, I swear! And mama even gave me London Broil to eat, which is amazing, being that she's a vegetarian...
Anyway, by the end of the day I had the birthday song sung to me several times (thank you Uncle Daddy, and Gramps, and AUntie & Grammy!) and I got great cards - even AUntie April sent one!
So I climbed into bed and licked mama and thanked her for such a neat day...with more to come!
