"Sparkle Goes To Bloomingdale's!"

Woofs and licks! Did I ever have an adventure!!! As most of my faithful readers know, I'm a girly-girl at heart, and I LOVE to go to Bloomingdale's with my mama to shop and look and get praised. Well, was I in for a surprise...I knew something was up when mama dressed me in my pink and plaid seersucker dress (see "Mother's Day, 2007), and sure enough, who showed up but my AUntie Mary!!! We were setting out for a real Girl's Day at Bloomindales! Our first stop was for sunglassses...mama believes you can never have too many. What do you think of this pair?

Uh...I think these are better...

It's amazing how many of the salespeople there know me!

I just LOVE being adored!!!

Next, we girls hit the make-up counters...mama and Auntie had COMPLETE make-overs - it was AMAZING - they looked GORGEOUS!!! ANd of course they bought a lot of make-up, but ooh-la-la!!!
We got jewelry, a bedskirt, Auntie was trying on sundresses, but ended up with skinny black jeans, we were EVERYWHERE! Then came the best part - LUNCH! We went upstairs to the exclusive "Le Train Bleu" - I think it's French - where we all had a nice meal together. I was very thirsty, so mama gave me water right away...then we had a nice salad and mama and Auntie each had a glass of wine!

I had SUCH a swell time! After lunch, mama and AUntie were a bit giddy, but they perused a couple more areas of the store, and said they'd have to come back - Auntie had to get to Gourmet Garage to pick up some olives and cheese. So we went with her - and on the way she bought a pocketbook and sunglasses!!!
I had the BESTEST time - and I have to give special thanks to my AUntie Mary 'cause it was her idea to have a Girl's Day!

It was the best! I hope you all had a nice weekend!

Mother's Day, 2007

Warm woofs and licks! The reason it has taken me so long to post is because the new system to blog is goofy! Anyway, mama and I took a bus down to Grammy's and Gramps' for Mother's Day. I looked pretty!

In fact, Gramps and I matched!!!

Of course my Grammy was beautiful as always!

Grammy and Gramps are living in a new temporary apartment until they decide where to move next! But THIS time, they remembered my favorite piece of furniture!

I was so happy! Even Auntie Clucker and Uncle Football came over!

Grammy gave me one of my FAVORITE bones to munch on!!!

What can I say? YUMMMMMMM!!!!!

Here I am playing peek-a-boo with mama's camera...

Here's another photo of my outfit...mama picked it out!

We gave Grammy nice presents and we ate good food, and all-in-all it was a great day! Only a poopy man at the bus terminal gave me a hard time, but I think the day was fine and I hope my wonderful Grammy thought so, too. Oh, by the way, we went on a quick shopping trip and I got MY mama a pretty jacket!

A VERY happy day for all!
