"Grammy's SPecial Birthday," by Sparkle

Warm woofs! Mama and I just got back into town after helping my beloved Grammy celebrate a special birthday! On the day BEFORE her big event, AUntie Clucker came over and we all decided to go SHOPPING!!! Here I am with Auntie:

We went all over the place - we even went to see where Grammy & Gramps are MOVING in a few weeks!

We had lots of fun, but departed in time so we'd all have our beauty sleep for Grammy's big day!

Of course I gave my Gramps a hug...

...and naturally, Grammy got the first of many kisses!!!

For my fashionista friends, I was wearing a pink and black "Chanel-type" dress - tres chic!

Auntie Clucker has such a big heart - she drove to pick up Cousin Molly, and then she and mama went to collect Uncle Football after he finished working...here they are at the restaurant:

I was seated at the table between Mama and Gramps...Here's a nice shot of him and Grammy...

After eating, we went outside for a group shot...Uncle Football took this one so Mama could be in it...but I think it's a little fuzzy-wuzzy...OOPS!

Then it was time for PRESENTS!!! I was so excited when Grammy started to open mine...

Gosh, I was happy!!!

Grammy sure got some nice loot! THen she posed for a picture with Teddy and Fleagle...note the bling on Grammy's arm!

After presents, guess what came NEXT???

It was really yummy - Gramps didn't notice me eating a BIG chunk right off his plate!
So everyone departed, and Gramps and I took nappsie while Mama and Grammy watched the Emmy awards...then we wuz TIRED!!!
The next day I knew we wuz leaving, so when I saw Mama pack her bag, I hopped into MINE, in case she forgot me...

But one more stop before we got on the bus...Auntie Clucker invited us to visit her and her friends at her office - so Grammy, Gramps, Mama and I invaded her lovely work abode and created a ruckus! I met some of my most ardent admirers there! Here's just a handful with AUntie...

And then we went bye-bye, and Mama and I slept all the way back home...Dear Grammy, I hope you had a WONDERFUL birthday!!!

Mama was in such a hurry to put up our Labor Day post that she forgot two very important pictures! The first is me with my beautiful AUntie Mary, who drove us to the party...

I also wanted to thank May for all the delicious food - I actually got to eat my first HOT DOG!!!

Just a quick note to thank Auntie Mary and May Pang for bringing us all together (with about 100 other people!) for May's annual end of summer bash! Auntie Mary drove - and we even got to go to Costco's to pick up this gigantic carrot cake! Here I am saying hello to one of the guests:

And of course here I am with mama...

...doing what I do best!

"I'm Ready For My Close-Up!," by Sparkle

Oh my goodness, oh my goodness! I'm going to be on the SEASON PREMIERE of the Ellen DeGeneres Show which airs this Tuesday, September 4th! Without giving too much away, it's a spoof on Leona Helmsley's Maltese, Trouble...my wonderful agent called me the VERY DAY Grammy & Gramps came to town, and it was all put together VERY quickly! After a nice visit with Grammy & Gramps (and some PIZZA!), Mama and I went to bed early 'cause we had a 6:30AM call-time! All I will say is that it was SO much fun, and Ellen was wonderful to us, and Mama said I made her very proud! The show is very funny, so be sure to watch or set your VCR's or DVD recorders! Mama walked me on the stage...and I did fine with the audience clapping and the cameras and lights...SO exciting! Grammy & Gramps and AUntie Clucker and Godfather and Uncle David and Uncles Jeff and Harvey and just about EVERYONE we know are happy for me!I hope you like it... Grammy gave me a little advice on posing...

So everybody should applaud Ellen 'cause she has such nice people working for her - and special thanks to my groomers!!!
