Mother's Day, 2006 by Sparkle

Hi, Everyone! I hope you all had a lovely day with your mamas and Grammys! I sure did...mama and I went for a walk before my Uncles picked us up - then we drove to PA where Grammy & Gramps live...I was wearing my pretty black dress with pearls - I had to look special for the occasion!

And when we got to Grammy's she had good FOOD ready for us - lots of CHEESE! I'm not supposed to eat it, but I got a few nibbles...
ANyway, all the rest of the company came (Auntie Clucker, Fleagle, Uncle Football, Cousin Molly) and after a while Auntie Clucker took me for a little walk (my second of the day - where I "complied" and probably lost a pound (if you get my drift!) - anyway, then we were ready to open gifts - I helped Grammy - I got her earrings! and I got my mama (with help from Grammy) a pretty pink top - then, another snooze on Gramps' legs (see bottom of blog) and soon it was DINNERTIME! I wandered back and forth between Grammy and Gramps where I knew I would get the most "handouts!" It was all VERY tasty - and afterwards, my belly was FULL, so I took a snooze on the floor. THen it was time to drive back to NY, where I slept on mama's lap all the way back. Mama said she smelled gas, and Uncle Jeff said he did too, only he thought it was from ME!!! Can you imagine? But it was fumes from outside. I wuz a very tired little girl, so once we got home (after 9PM) I crawled into bed and FLOPPED. And slept really well!
