"It's My Party And I'll Bark If I Want To," by Sparkle

Warm woofs and happy birthday to ME!!! Today is my actual birthday, but we celebrated yesterday 'cause it was the weekend and we could get CRAZY!!! First of all, here is my official portrait:

Mama had me dressed in a black T-with RHINESTONES - and I was wearing a collar and big bow that said,"Happy Birthday!" Here's a close-up of the back:

Now, what's a party without GUESTS??? Of COURSE Grammy was there...

...and Gramps provided a warm lap...

...and even Great-Uncle Jeff came by to wish me well!

And I made out like a BANDIT! Look what Mama put on the table for me:

First I opened my groomer Marcia's gift - a doggie cake!!!

You Fashionistas out there are gonna be SO jealous - look what my mama got me: TWO outfits for Spring!!!

Grammy and Gramps gave me this yellow dress...

...and this bee-you-tee-ful raincoat - it's PINK!

Of COURSE I got a bag of Greenies - teeny-weenie ones!!!

And some new BONES!!!

I also got some CASH but mama says it's not polite to discuss the amount...but I'm saving up for a diamond tennis bracelet!
Then mama brought my cake - CARROT CAKE! - with some candles, and everybody sang to me!

I was so excited I could barely contain myself! Here I am, licking my lips:

It was just as swell a time as I could imagine...Grammy also brought me TWO steaks, and I got some great cards (thank you, AUntie Clucker and Uncle Football)...I am a VERY lucky little girl...then mama told me the story of how I was in my FIRST mommy's tummy, then I was born, and just as few weeks later, Mama and I found each other - it's been heaven! I have SUCH a wonderful family...

And I woke up today on my REAL birthday, and Mama gave me steak and pizza! So thank you everyone for your good wishes!!!

"Anniversary Party!," by Sparkle

Woof! My Grammy & Gramps had a BIG anniversary on April 4th!!! We were a small group, but a mighty fine one! On the actual DAY, Grammy, Gramps, Auntie Clucker, Mama and I went...SHOPPING!!! (Bet you didn't see THAT coming, huh?!) Here's Grammy in her bright red jacket...

And here's Gramps carrying me, as usual!

We ended up eating at The Cheesecake Factory and ate real good! YUM!
THat night, Mama and I slept in our special (i.e., SMALL) bed and I wore my jammies, all excited about the big celebration...When Grammy & Gramps got married, they didn't take no photos at the wedding - can you imagine?!, but here's what they looked like:

Grammy looks like a MOVIE STAR, right?!
THe next morning, Great-Uncle Jeff came all the way from NY...I was SO happy to see him!

And mama bought me a special dress to wear - isn't it pretty?

Here I am with Grammy & Gramps:

Auntie Clucker and Uncle Football went to Philadelphia to pick up Cousin Molly - she enjoys being with us!

Then we all set off for the REALLY nice restaurant - we even brought our own wine, although the waiter said we'd never find anything like it in Europe! It was THAT SPECIAL!!!
Here's Uncle Football and Great-Uncle Jeff...
After a DELICIOUS meal, we went outside and mama took this photo of everyone:

Then, Great-Uncle Jeff took THIS one with MAMA!

Then, we all went home! It was a lovely day! The NEXT day, I saw mama packing a box, so if memory serves me well, that meant I was gonna be going somewhere, so guess what I did?

Yup! Right in the bag!!! And then mama and I took the bus back to the big city! Happy Anniversary, Grammy & Gramps!

"It's a Birthday for Gramps!" by Sparkle

Honestly! My mama is such a slug!!! We've had these photos for a while, but it took her THIS LONG to put them up!!! Anyway, we celebrated Gramps' birthday on March 8th, so here's a look at what went on. First of all,I made my appearance in a new leopard coat...
It's "faux," but truly stunning. Now Gramps and my Mousey and I had to have a discussion about the upcoming festivities...

Of course we HAD to do some shopping before the celebration...here we are at Target...

And Coldwater Creek - I LOVE the waterfall! And MAma loves to whip out her credit card!!!

All that shopping wore me out! Here I am taking a nappsie on Grammy's sofa...

Doesn't she have a pretty living room?

Here, Gramps and I had a discussion on the merits of getting older...

I just LOVE being adored...!

On the actual birthday,my cousin FLEAGLE joined us!!!

Auntie Clucker and Grammy helped Gramps open his presents - I watched and supervised!

We went to a pretty restaurant - here's my beautiful Grammy:

After the celebration, we went home and I put on my favorite pajamas...aren't they cute?

Now on the FOLLOWING day, Mama and Gamps took out Mama's box of clothes to be shipped, and I thought that was my "signal," so I LEAPED into my case and got ready to go...

Not that Mama would EVER leave me - but all in all, we had a PERFECT visit!
Happy Birthday, Gramps!

"Christmas, 2007" by Sparkle

Warm woofs, my friends! It's taken my mama a while to get my new stuff up - she so busy! - but here we go! First, this was my "official" photo:

Great Uncle Jeff and mama and me took Mr. Greyhound down to see Grammy & Gramps...I gotta tell ya,I was SO excited about Santa Paws coming!!! All day before, I wuz wearing my Christmas tree shirt!

Then, the night before the big day, I got all dressed in my RED pajamas...

FINALLY!!! Look what was waiting for me:

But first, here I am in my official holiday dress!

It was red velvet with white satin trim -here's a look at the back:

We had some special guests...here's FLEAGLE!

And Enny-meeny-mine-emu was back!

I spent much of my day lying next to my Great-Uncle!

Soon it was time to open presents!!! Look what my mama got me:

Isn't it PRETTY? And then I got THIS from Grammy & Gramps:

And this, too! It was a tad "snug" around the waist so Grammy got me one size larger...

Of course I wasn't the ONLY one to get gifts...here's Gramps opening a new sweater!

But I was the only one who got one of these from Santa Paws!

I was SUCH a happy girl!!!

I told my AUntie Clucker what a nice day I was having...

...and Grammy & I shared a smile!

It was so much fun - and the FOOD!! Well, yes, Grammy made steak for me -but I also had chicken and a brisket! I was SO FULL - even the FOLLOWING day!!! I managed to squeeze into my pink sweater...

All in all, we had a lovely time...Great Uncle would take me for my morning walks, and Gramps was always ready for a snuggle...

So I hope all of you had a nice time as well - and maybe some of you adopted doggies from shelters 'cause they need loving homes like mine...here's to a good new year!
